e its a lot more than just squid discs and rng satan. There is a lot of planning necessary. You need certain supplies that are dfficult to get to minimize time. Re: Favorite Quest/Mechanic
Level 10 quest is my least favorite, because I get the most RNG hate on it. 60 turns just for the caves portion (this is after I had 2 of the caves x'ed out already) due to critical hits on me 3-4 times in a row. I have issues picking the right caves, and adventuring in the second area unlocked neve...

There should be an item that gives an effect which causes your stats to be from lifetime instead of current, for a single turn. Like, it causes you to recover your lost memories for a short while. >.> Sure thing satan, and to balance it why dont we say -100% XP, +5 Minutes to turn duration, lasts 5...

I also don't want to encourage this kind of play. I think most people would get bored with it and want to leave. It's a silly sort of competition to foster. So most people would get bored with their own stupid decision? Thats why they arent locked into run restrictions and can drop them at any time...

Im interested in hearing opinions on this. Should fastest retcon be organized according days or time?
I myself lean towards time, therefore someone who is doing a food restriction as an equal chance as someone who isn't.

Or could it be from when she got to level 30 in 12 hours and this is bedtime is actually 29 hours instead of 5 hours away? Hmmm... 29 hours is 1740 which is 435 4 minute turns. 434 turns because she is a minute after 10, not at 10. Sorry if i missed any sarcasm...Corrupt Shadow wrote: 434 turns?!

From a coding standpoint it seems like it could be rather easy to do, probably just a double flag (when you enable emergency time it triggers 1 flag that causes your next day to start 60 minutes later, and triggers the second flag so it is a one time occurrence, i.e. false false is normal unused, tr...

I would disagree with your stated opinion. Accomplishing something difficult can be an absolute blast. I see this adding a fair more amount of strategy/planning for retcon pulls than the previous system of just loading up with a bunch of exigen/gumdrops/marshmallow blasts before retcon starts up. I am a fan of requiring more planning.

See i figured it could make you immune to poison damage (where it does 1 damage to you like it does for enemies), and then include items from all the other elements, obviously making it so you can wear them all simultaneously.

What about an offhand item version of Prepunctuality, i.e. and item that randomly after combat will give you back another 30 seconds? Say it fired about 20% of the time but also increased your turn length by 5 seconds. Make it a required level 10 or 15 to reduce its necessity for speed runs.

depending on what limited sidekick means, it sounds pretty much like starting all over from scratch as a hero with a sewn closed mouth... Id probably do that run a few times, especially for some sweet rewards...
